A pair of chairs to my own design, using the same brown oak frame, but different backs. One seat has a curved laminated back in constructional ripple maple, and the other has a rope back laced through holes in the legs like a corset. Both seats are cushioned and upholstered, as the chairs were designed to be comfortable for long duration sitting.
Brown oak keyed mitred box with veneered marquetry top. Top is my own design in oak. Box is veneered inside in ripple maple and the top is inlaid in boxwood. The construction is a modification of an existing design.
Coffee table in brown oak with maple detailing. Traditional handmade dovetailed drawer with ripple maple veneered bottom. Constructed to an existing design, with my own detailing and material choices. Finished in hard wax oil and wax.
